2019 – CEMEX Go Year In Review

The UK Digital team would like to say thank you to everyone in the business for their great efforts on the achievement of CEMEX Go results in 2019.

Order Adoption Summary

Finishing the year at 39% adoption of orders, we processed 73,814 digital orders in 2019, we have 3,876 registered customers and 8,429 users on the CEMEX Go online store. Well done to all the Commercial teams and the Planning offices for the engagement and administration of customers orders in CEMEX Go.

Aggregates Summary

Aggregates compliance has grown from strength to strength, month on month, and the linear backbone of progress is definitely on the up – a massive thanks go to all the Weighbridge, Planning, Logistics and Haulage teams NATIONALLY who have made this happen so quickly, given the steep learning curve and occasional challenges due to the system developments and improvements.  Putting the scale of the challenge into context we deliver 5,000 external deliveries EVERY WEEK, on over 200+ CEMEX Own Fleet vehicles, and 600+ haulier vehicles, operated by 1,000 individual drivers – great job!

Every journey begins with the first step, and we have made massive digital strides ever since – let’s continue on this road in 2020!

Readymix Summary

  • Readymix adoption has steadily grown since full UK rollout in February this year and we are now consistently the best in class in terms of IHC/Own Fleet adoption in Europe.
  • October saw our best adoption to date with 93.5% of all IHCs using engaging with our digital solution.
  • Tracking deliveries through our Planning offices has been a real ‘game changer’.
  • IOS and Android solutions now in full operation for 3rd party spot hire vehicles and will be part of criteria for preferred vendor use in 2020.
  • Mortar solution also now in play and full UK rollout through Q1 2020.
