Our Paving Solutions colleagues have been very busy up in Killingholme for the last eight months supplying 100,000 tonnes of CEM-Pave RCC to customer, Able UK.  Able UK have been constructing a large storage area and access roads for BMW.  BMW plan to store all their fleet of vehicles there before inspection and dispatch to dealerships.

After meetings with the team at Able head office, including their Executive Chairman, Peter Stephenson, the CEMEX team were able to present RCC as a better solution to Asphalt. RCC was more cost effective and durable; with other benefits such as reduced lighting requirements.

Logistics were a challenge as there were no local Aggregate resources, so the team have had to work closely with Aggregates and Logistics to deliver 82,000 tonnes of material from Dove Holes Quarry – almost 90 miles to North Lincolnshire by rail and road.
