I think you’ll agree this is an amazing achievement when you consider the high fluctuation in volume due to customer demands, the fluctuation over the past year of agency staff, the number of staff working a 24 hour operation over 3 shifts, the very high level of process and human interaction and product change in line with new moulds along with a complete new process”

We also need to remind ourselves that it is people that make such things happen, people will judge us for many things throughout life and we can never pretend to always get things right, I myself have done several safety courses over my time as a manager and none were as impactive than ‘Legacy’ this wasn’t just about the course but it was about ‘What do you want to be remembered for?’ I want Somercotes to always be remembered as a place to offer a challenge in a safe environment with a management team that will always care about its people”
