We have recently secured a 3,000m3 project for CE Davidson at Larling which we will supply from our Thetford Plant on a 9 radial. We were up against a competitor who were closer to the site, but do not have the relationship with the customer. CEMEX, however, were more expensive but Davidsons felt product and service were worth more and knew that’s what CEMEX deliver.

Darren Shaw, Sales Rep, decided to arrange a meeting with Craig Holland, Site Manager, and Matthew Dunkley, Plant Manager at Thetford Plant, so all could get an understanding of what was required and expected on the project.

The meeting went very well and we came away with all the information needed to plan for these pours.

Feedback from Peter Davidson (Director) was that Craig was very happy that Matt had taken the time to meet him. It’s strengthened the trust between the two companies.  It just goes to show that great customer service and trust go a long way to getting new business.
