Cluster 7, yet again, showed how good we are at servicing our customers when we work as One CEMEX.  Slipform Engineering Ltd began a continuous pour out of Goole Readymix Plant last week.  Building a silo on the wharf required 24/7 supply and our guys responded brilliantly.

Martyn Robinson, Operations Team Leader, commented: “The entire job went without a major problem.  Construction of the silo took around 800m3 of concrete and finished around 4am in the morning. It was remarkable to see this structure grow so quickly.

Thanks to the batchers, Robert Hill, Michael Hix and Paul Binns, Technicians Ross Hodgson and Michael Livsey, and all the drivers involved.
