Collaboration Is Key

Matt Saunders, RMX, Product Support Advisor, reported back on a delighted customer in the West Midlands.  

“At Product Support a call was recently received from Higgins Bailers in the West Midlands looking for a solution to a tricky and technically challenging job to refurbish their workshop floor. A high performance concrete with good abrasion resistance was key.

Naturally, Microtech was discussed.  We outlined to the customer the benefits of a product that comes with the added assurance of being rough and tough enough to rise to the challenges of its environment, which in this case was to have 30+ tonne agricultural and industrial machinery literally dragged across it on a regular basis. The addition of fibres for long term durability was also discussed and agreed on.

The product was sold in by Area Sales Rep, Dave Taylor, batched by Peter Crosby at the Kidderminster Plant with assistance from Tom Jeffries and Ken Land.  On the day the pour was overseen by ATM Gilbert Morgan and assisted by Technician Richard Brindle. Needless to say, the customer was delighted with the finished result.

A job such as this, which represents excellent value for both the customer and CEMEX, is a great way to showcase how effective collaboration, good product knowledge, intelligent communication and thorough analysis of the customer’s requirements can be to provide a solution that is both Best for Customers and Best for Shareholders. A great win for everybody involved.”
