Last week saw the customer open day at our newest aggregates wharf in Dagenham.  We have spent 6 months converting the site to make it a fully operational wharf to serve the City of London and north of the river market. The site was previously one of our asphalt plants and then a transfer depot for our imports.

Dagenham is our only aggregates wharf north of the river, so makes the city market more accessible for our aggregate products.

The whole operation is worth £48million (including contractor run dredger, land value and plant value).   Customers such as Mix it, Gill Aggregates Ltd and Primary Aggregates came to the day and were shown the new operation and what CEMEX can provide for them.
