Not at all!  Despite all the above, the first London contract involving Roller Compacted Concrete has taken place at a new haulage yard for L Lynch, Plant Hire near Wembley in London. The laying took place over 3 days just before Easter so that the client was up and ready to start business after the Easter break.  But there are more firsts – this was the first time that sharp sand was used instead of the usual crushed rock fines and the first time that RCC had to be transported from Greenwich taking nearly 2 hours before laying, obviously heavily retarded.  But guess what? a great result with a happy customer.  Well done to the Team for their hard work.
