RMX UK Customer Service Centre is Up and Running

It was the FINAL COUNTDOWN…. and the excitement was mounting!  Not just to the Go Live and transition for Northern and Scotland Regions CSCs but this Monday saw the completion our move to having a UK READYMIX CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE (CSC) for the very first time in our history. That’s a significant milestone!

Preparations were completed for the changeover and last week the CSC Team visited Northern and Scottish Offices at Preston Brook, Sheffield and Uddingston. They met with Shipping Office Teams to put names to faces and to explain the cutover plan for the week ahead.

In the meantime the Northern Commercial Team (Damon, Danny, Shaun and Gary) visited Rugby to discuss detail in processes and share some ideas for Best Practice. It was really pleasing that Northern had some great ideas for tender pricing and cash sales charges which simplify and speed sales office processes – just the sort of opportunities for continuous improvement the CSC Team are looking for!

An evening visit to Stirling Castle was even better after a surprise bagpiper played in front of Robert The Bruce! Left to right are Darren, Katie, Lianne, Tamsin and Danielle.
