Teamwork Saves The Day

Margo Orme, Customer Service Team Leader, received a telephone call on a Saturday afternoon (whilst out shopping) from a customer, Colin at J. Handford.  His request was for 100T of Track Ballast for Sunday morning.

Margot continues: “After a few phone calls which included Quarry Manager, Alan Stewart, it was arranged for the Plant to be staffed and open for collection. The material was for a new train station in Maghull and being able to assist our customer meant that crucial works went ahead on time. Colin rang this morning to thank us for going above and beyond and providing excellent customer service.”

Well done to Margot, Alan and the team for giving the customer a superior experience.
