There will be a short period when SAP will not be available between the evening of Friday 14th October and evening of Monday 17th October (exact times to be confirmed).
Who’s affected? This will affect all CEMEX UK users of our SAP systems including Standard SAP, CRM, RMS Order Fulfilment and Easyquote – it is also affecting our operations in Germany, France and Poland.
Why’s it happening? This is a vital upgrade to our current SAP version which is nine years old and difficult to support and develop. Moving to the latest SAP version will give us an improved platform, enabling us to maximise the use of latest SAP modules and technologies.
How’s it being managed? Detailed plans are in place to manage the outage nationally and locally, and staff will be advised what they need to do before, during and after the outage.
