On Saturday 5th September many of the employees and their families from our Rail Solutions factory in Somercotes went on a day out to Drayton Manor Park and Zoo in Staffordshire.

A coach was booked to take people there and they all arrived at Drayton Manor just as it was opening, managing to avoid any long queues. The children were very excited and so were some of the older children (aka the adults!!)

When everyone got in the park, some went their separate ways and some in groups all were told that the coach was going back to Somercotes at 5.30 pm so they could all enjoy the day their own way.  Even the weather was good which helped and made the day even better.

When they were travelling home the atmosphere on the coach was great and everyone was in good spirits which made the day well worth it.   Some of the little ones even made new friends and all the CEMEX employees enjoyed a day out.
