DIY SOS approached us to help a very deserving family in Loughborough during March for their big build programme. The parents of the family are battling Cancer and their children have a lot of medical problems that are difficult to deal with without having a better equipped house. A small amount of concrete was needed for their extension.

We were asked to be part of the “Big Reveal” Show where the family gets to see their new home for the first time and meet the volunteers who took part. Darren Kent was our Representative and he says it was an emotional few hours. The family thanked everyone personally who took part; there were some 220+ people. They are very humble and the father, Mark, commented that even if his own battle fails he is extremely positive for the NEW future that has been provided for his family.
