The staff at Denge Quarry started their weekend last week with a bang when the MOD police came to site asking if they could do a controlled explosion on a World War 2 Device that had been found on the local RSPB site. The police set up an exclusion zone and the explosion was set from a safe location. One of our staff got to push the button, Dan Hand, who has been with the company for a little over 3 months now, as a reward for assiting the police with the setting up of the exclusion zone.
