Dressed For Success

Following on from our successful Cycle Safety Awareness day at Chester Blue Coat School in October we once again engaged with the school as part of Community partnership. Members of the Northern RMX Team were invited back to the school by the Headmaster, Vince O’Brien, to take part in the launch of the school’s new sports kit which, with the support from CEMEX, will help children in all six school years take part in sports activities.

A selection of children were dressed in the new kit during the morning assembly in which a short presentation was delivered to share key messages on Road and Cycle Safety Awareness. We also took the opportunity to promote the work CEMEX carries out in its communities through sport.

The assembly ended with the teacher and children giving a special thanks to CEMEX with 3 very loud cheers before the cameras started flashing. Headmaster, Vince O’Brien commented that: “The support of CEMEX is helping the school to provide the children with invaluable knowledge that will help them as they develop.”  The praise from the children and staff was a very proud moment for Damon Montgomery and theTeam and confirmation that they really are making a positive difference in the Cheshire community!
