Third and fourth year Geography pupils from Dunblane High school visited Cambusmore Quarry on 22 October to gather information regarding glazier deposits. The information will be used to help them with their geography exams. Head of the geography department Dr Gordon Irvine thanked CEMEX for making this educational visit possible. This is the second year that this visit has taken place and Dr Irvine said that, undoubtedly last year’s visit helped the pupils achieve positive exam grades.
