Logistics driver team Lend a Rein..

Members of the Logistics Driver Team from Rugby spent an enjoyable day helping out at a Circles network project “Taking the Reins” in Rugby.

The aim of Take the Reins is to improve the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children through fusion of fun, education and theory with horses. The project encourages children who often have low self esteem and self confidence to achieve results and enjoy their time being in the presence and working with such a powerful animal. A very sunny day was spent attacking Ragwort, cutting lawns and attempting to level a quiet garden area space where children are able to sit quietly when they need time alone.

Liz Montford Executive Assistant and Business Manager for the project couldn’t thank CEMEX enough for their time and effort and presented all of them with a certificate of appreciation. The work and our support will continue including our main vehicle Vendor Midland Commercial Motors getting involved repairing a horse box which is vital for the ‘Taking the Reins’ project.
