For very good reason a small but perfectly willing band of CEMEX colleagues, including Rob Greenfield, have decided to attempt the challenge of cycling from London to Paris between 13th to 16th July in aid of the Stroke Association charity.
Rob commented: “No doubt you may already know someone who has been affected by stroke, you may also know that recently one of our colleagues, Matthew Crowder (Paving Solutions), suffered a severe stroke and is currently in the long process of recovery. Every five minutes stroke destroys lives and the Stroke Association helps to rebuild them. So, we have decided to get on our bikes and cycle the hundreds of miles from the capital of the UK to the capital of France, all the while probably clad in lycra in order to raise awareness and some much needed funding for this worthwhile charity.
