Supporting Myton Hospice – April 24th – Via Pay-Day Giving

Employees at Rugby Office and Plant have been volunteering to sign up to Payroll Giving and the lottery scheme that the local Myton Hospice run.

Several Lend-A-Hand days have been spent there and Maninder Lully, Payroll Administrator in Rugby, is helping support the hospice.   Look out for the Myton Hospice coming to Rugby on April 24th to promote their lottery scheme.   Even if you don’t work at Rugby and want to support this please contact Maninder Lully on 01788 517 344 who will be happy to help.

Here is a letter from the hospice highlighting how much they need support from the likes of us:

At Myton we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life and that treating patients with dignity and respect is more important than meeting targets. We also know that making someone feel better is not just about medicine – sometimes holding someone’s hand or taking the time to listen to their fears makes the greatest difference – if someone you love was dying isn’t that what you would want for them?

We touch the lives of almost 4,000 people each year across Coventry and Warwickshire, in our hospices, via our patient and family support services and in the community through Myton at Home. We have to raise almost £8 million each year to continue providing our care. We can’t do it without people like you.

By supporting The Myton hospices with a small donation every pay day you will be making a real difference to someone at the end of their life. The Team from Myton will be here in the canteen on Friday 24th April – please take the time to talk to them about how your £1 can help.
