Manor Pit Quarry had an unusual emergency landing last week – a hot air balloon had to land there as it ran out of fuel. The Quarry was the only safe available space in the area.  Thanks to Phil McComb, Site Manager, and his Team who stepped in to ensure they packed the balloon away and left site safely.
