Congratulations to the team in Cluster 12.  Terri Charles, Cluster Manager, commented: “I would like to thank everyone in the Cluster for this 8 year LTI free achievement including drivers, contractors and visitors. This helps us to demonstrate that ZERO is possible by ensuring health & safety is our Number 1 priority, focusing on looking after yourself and looking after each other and making Safety a Personal Value.

2016 has not been without its issues for us and it would be remiss of me not to mention this. We have had some very close calls with the roll-over incidents in the Cluster. Thankfully the people involved did not sustain any major injuries; however, the potential for severe injuries was great. This is why root cause analysis and sharing learning outcomes is essential to help prevent any future accidents from occurring not just locally but across the UK business.

We need to continue our back to basics approach to Health & Safety: following the Safety Essentials, Stop and Think, using our Near Miss Hazard Alert system and Stepping-in in challenging unsafe behaviours and practices.
