Monday saw the launch of Road Safety Week by road safety charity BRAKE.  The theme of this year’s campaign is about driving less, with BRAKE highlighting some of the ‘health effects of driving’, including the negative effects on the environment and individual’s health,  and the cost involved.

CEMEX took part in the launch at Horseguards Parade in Central London by providing the new Econic truck for guests to get inside the cab and look round the vehicle.

Ruth Cadbury, Labour MP for Brentwood and Islington in North London, is a frequent cyclist into work and also Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group, was one of the guests (pictured).
