Rugby Plant and its associated quarries (Southam and Kensworth) have recently installed some life saving equipment….

Defibrillators are now located in the control rooms of Rugby and Kensworth as well as in the Quarry Manager’s office at Southam. The hope is that these defibrillators will never be needed or used. However should the need occur the sites are ready and prepared.

The defibrillators are very clever as they actually talk the user through each step, to ensure they are used correctly.

There are well over 200 employees and contractors working across the 3 sites on a day to day basis, and this is a good example of being the Best for Families by making every second count in an emergency situation.
