On Wednesday Thomas Hunter, Sales Rep for Readymix, visited an Edinburgh City Centre site for Deans Civil Engineering.To get to site he went in a truck mixer with one of our Leith IHC’s Marcin and during the short journey he carried out a VFL and discussed various Health and Safety issues.  Thomas commented: “After being on the site it really brought home some of the challenging things that our guys encounter on a daily basis.  The biggest problem was the noise.

As you can see from the photo the job is right in the City Centre and a very tight site. The noise from the Plant and traffic meant that our Drivers really have to be alert at all times …. hats off to them.”
