Congratulations to all our operations who were presented with their RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards last week with Readymix Central receiving the “Mines and Quarries” Sector Award, Marine being Highly Commended in the “Transport, Storage and Distribution Industry” Sector, Ash receiving an “Order of Distinction”, Logistics and Readymix Northern achieving “Presidents Awards”, a Gold Medal for Rail Solutions, UK Aggregates receiving a “Gold Award”, and a very creditable “Silver Award” for Concrete Products on their first entry to the Awards.  In addition, Logistics were recognised with a “Gold Award for Fleet Safety”.

Impressively this is the 6th consecutive year that Readymix have won the Sector Award.  The photo shows the RMX Central Team who attended on behalf of their colleagues.
