Stepping In Taken To A New Level

IHC, Kirk Jarman in Cluster 15, showed great bravery by ‘Stepping In’ after witnessing a collision between a truck and a car near Royston which left the car driver sitting in a damaged car with a hot and smoking engine while petrol poured out from a split in the fuel lines. Kirk noticed the elderly driver of the vehicle was unable to get out, stepped in, turned the engine off and pulled him from the car and took him to a safe place while they waited for the emergency services. Fortunately the car did not explode but it could easily have done so and Kirk’s actions would have saved a life.
