We are sorry to report that CEMEX UK experienced a truckmixer rollover last week.  Thankfully no one was seriously injured, but it could have ended very differently.  Please discuss this issue with your teams.

This is our third truckmixer rollover of the year, a trend that we must stop if we are to avoid a tragic incident at some stage in the future.  Whilst a root cause analysis investigation is underway into this latest incident and the learning points will be shared, past experience has shown that truckmixers are particularly susceptible to rollovers on bends and at roundabouts, with slight increases in speed greatly affecting their stability.

Line managers please make drivers aware of this latest incident and our concerns over the trend, stressing the need for caution, and put in place measures to prevent more rollovers.
