Congratulations to haulier TJ Transport who have won our Safe Haulier award for Q1. This is to recognise their Cycle Safe Campaign.   They launched an integrated cycle safe campaign to include: annual driver inductions, annual driver assessments and MPQC vulnerable road user course and toolbox talks.

This was in addition to the accelerated fitment of safety features to their tipper fleet such as 360 camera systems, side under run guards and audible left turn warnings.

TJ Transport has also completed three ‘Exchanging Places’ events to date in 2016 with another three scheduled.

Driver, Tony Light, was nominated to receive the quarterly prize for his support during the Exchanging Places events and his undeterred enthusiasm to take on this role for all events, whereby he passionately engages with visitors, delivering the key messages in a personable and memorable manner and offering his experience and insight only available from a career driver.
