We are continuing to see an increase in slip, trip and fall incidents with falls on level ground and from height accounting for half of our most serious injuries this year. In all of the cases these accidents were preventable by following our Safety Essentials and STEPPING IN when we see an unsafe behaviour.

LTI employee rate is now 0.6 based on current headcount. This is putting CEMEX UK above CEMEX global average of 0.5 (something that I don’t remember has happened before) and in the list of hot spot countries. Please be sure that you reflect with your teams on our current negative trend and do something today to stop it.
