This months value has been to Pursue Excellence.  As a global company CEMEX recognises that we all need to operate with certain values in order to be the best company that we can be.One of the five values it has identified is Pursue Excellence.  Which means be the best at all times.  Strive for the highest standards in the industry, constantly challenge ourselves to be better, and to develop inspiring leaders.

Here in the UK we have already been doing this – our aspiration to build a greater Britain and to be the best for all of our key stakeholder groups means that we are already pursuing excellence across our businesses.

You only have to look at activities such as Just CI, one customer service centre and courses such as AMDP to realise that we in the UK are always trying to do things better – in pursuit of excellence! As we all know ‘being better’ is a continual work in progress…
