FUCHS Lubricants (UK) Plc and CEMEX have signed a three year contract for the supply of lubricants and greases to CEMEX Aggregates & Asphalt, whilst also supplying other divisions. FUCHS is the world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer and bring with them may years of lubricant experience. With helpful staff and representatives they aim to assist with every step of CEMEX’s current production processes making sure the right lubricants are being used throughout all plants.

A main advantage to this working relationship is the ability to trial products. In an attempt to further save energy, money and downtime, FUCHS are running a simple energy saving trial and results are currently indicating an initial 3.5% energy saving across the plant. This reduction will lead to substantial production cost savings for CEMEX. More time is required for precise feedback which will then be analysed and we anticipate this will result in more efficient lubricants being used.
