On Tuesday 24th November the Asphalt Business held 4 Down the Line business update calls – 2 for Northern region and 2 for Southern region.

Garry Gregory, Director Asphalt and Paving Solutions, arranged the calls and commented: “The purpose of the calls was to give an update to everybody in (and associated with) the Asphalt business in terms of progress against the 5 stakeholder groups (Families, Customers, Employees, Communities and Shareholders).

Impressively we had nearly 170 colleagues dial into the calls. Thank you to everyone who took the time to dial in. Also thank you to John Smith, Jason Barker, Les Luxon and Phil Hutchinson for sharing the presenting duties with me and to Claire Hills for a arranging the calls.

To those who dialled in – I hope it proved both informative and useful. We plan to continue with the calls every 6 months so if anyone has any comments including anything they would like us to add or change for next time let your manager know.”
