Rugby Plant recently welcomed a group of visitors made up of representatives from the MPA, Department for Energy & Climate Change (DECC), Business Innovation & Skills (BIS) and HM Treasury.

Visitors included DECC Head of EU-ETS, DECC Head of EU-ETS Policy and EU-ETS Strategy and Policy Managers from DECC, BIS and HM Treasury.

The visit provided an opportunity for the MPA and CEMEX to highlight the challenges we face and provide understanding of the cement industry. Positive feedback was received regarding the visit and in particular the high standards of housekeeping around the site were commented on.
